AgriBid is Zambia's premier online livestock auction platform, connecting ranchers, breeders, and buyers across the country. We specialise in bull sales, hosting live and timed auctions where you can bid on quality breeding stock from verified, trusted stud farms.

Click "My Account" in the top navigation to create your free account. During registration, you'll provide your farm or business details, contact information, and proof of identity. Once your account is verified, you can begin browsing upcoming auctions, placing bids, or listing your own bulls for sale.

Our platform hosts a wide variety of breeds including Bonsmara, Brahman, Angus, Hereford, Simmentaler, Boran, Nguni, Drakensberger, and more. Breed categories are clearly labelled so you can filter auctions by the specific bloodlines that suit your herd improvement goals.

Yes. All livestock listed on AgriBid must have up-to-date veterinary health certificates, fertility testing results (for bulls), and vaccination records. Sellers are required to upload these documents as part of the listing process, and our team reviews them before the auction goes live.

Absolutely. Each listing includes the seller's location and contact details. We encourage buyers to arrange farm visits or inspection days prior to auction day. Many of our sellers also provide video walkthroughs, detailed photos, and pedigree documentation on their listing pages.

AgriBid accepts EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), bank deposit, and secure online payments via our integrated payment gateway. For high-value transactions, we also facilitate buyer-seller escrow arrangements to ensure both parties are protected until the animal is collected.

Payment is due within 48 hours of the auction closing. You will receive an automated invoice via email with payment details and the seller's banking information. Failure to complete payment within the specified period may result in the sale being awarded to the next highest bidder.

Transport arrangements are agreed upon between the buyer and seller after payment is confirmed. Many sellers offer on-farm collection, while others can recommend trusted livestock transport companies. AgriBid can assist with connecting you to verified transport providers in your region.

A small buyer's premium may apply depending on the auction type. This fee is clearly displayed on the auction listing page before you place your bid, so there are no hidden costs. Sellers pay a listing and commission fee upon successful sale. Full fee schedules are available in your account dashboard.

AgriBid takes listing accuracy seriously. If an animal does not match its description, health records, or pedigree documentation, you may raise a dispute within 72 hours of collection. Our support team will investigate and mediate a resolution, which may include a full refund or replacement.

Live auctions run in real-time on a scheduled date and time. Once the auctioneer opens a lot, registered bidders can place incremental bids. The highest bidder when the hammer falls wins. You'll receive instant notifications if you are outbid, giving you the chance to respond before the lot closes.

Timed auctions remain open for a set period (e.g., 3–7 days). You can place your bid at any time during the window. If a bid is placed in the final minutes, the auction may extend to allow fair competition. The highest bidder at closing wins the lot.

Yes. Our proxy bidding feature allows you to set a maximum amount you're willing to pay. The system will automatically place the minimum necessary bid on your behalf, incrementally increasing up to your limit only if another bidder competes. Your maximum amount remains confidential.

Register as a seller, then navigate to your dashboard and click "Create Listing." You'll need to provide breed details, age, weight, pedigree information, fertility test results, health certificates, high-quality photos, and a reserve price. Our team will review and approve your listing before it goes live.

Sellers have the option to set a reserve price — the minimum amount they are willing to accept. If bidding does not reach the reserve, the seller is not obligated to sell. Reserve prices are not disclosed to bidders, but a "Reserve Not Met" indicator will display during the auction.
